This isn’t what I usually write about, but I think it’s important.
Critical Mass and other direct action is a good way to practice. Proficiency comes from experience. Start with easier, less dramatic situations that don’t require you to feel like it’s life or death. Cars kill more people than almost anything (except disease). We can stop them. But it’s important to be respectful and listen while doing it. Everyone has a reason for what they are doing. It doesn’t help to get mean or rude. Practise and dignity can go a long way. Saying No is an important part of life.
